Anyone over the age of 18 is eligible to playtest. The key purpose of our playtests is to make sure we are listening to a diverse group of players as we develop our games. That means we also need to playtest with players of different skill levels and with diverse gaming preferences. We will always try to inform you of playtesting opportunities that match your player preferences, but sometimes we look for people with specific interests or experiences to help us test. So if you aren't picked for a playtest, don't worry. There will be other opportunities in the future that may be perfect for you.

Once you sign up for our Playtesting Program, we will inform you whenever there are playtesting opportunities you can take part in. Joining the Playtesting Program does not mean you have to commit to participating in any playtesting sessions - we will always confirm your interest and availability beforehand.

Playtests are a chance for you to provide feedback on games or features in games that are often still in production. For digital playtests, you can use your own personal device in a private location, like your home, to participate. For in-person playtests, you may need to visit our office in Stockholm to participate.

Playtesting is entirely voluntary and intended to allow for you - the player - to have input on the games as they are being built. Playtesting is not a form of work, and when you participate in a playtest you should not expect to be compensated for taking time to play the game, but sometimes we may offer small rewards as thanks to players who help us make games better. We will always be upfront about whether or not this is the case for any individual session.
